This Storefront

The site you are on

The studio's own storefront: the coast as the interface, every destination a real coordinate, every route prerendered — a case study you are reading from inside its subject.

One MapLibre instance mounts once and never remounts; navigation flies the camera between real coordinates instead of loading pages, and the document itself never scrolls — a verifier asserts that on every route at four breakpoints rather than trusting it. Every destination is stamped out as static HTML at build time from the same imported modules the React app renders, so the crawler's copy and the visitor's copy cannot drift. Shipped work draws solid beacons at true coordinates; build-ready concepts draw hollow dashed ones down the corridor, labeled Concept everywhere they appear. The tide reading in the rail is a live NOAA gauge, fetched when you arrived.

Built with Vite, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind v4, MapLibre GL. 9,945 lines of source.
